Classic recipe. Prep time: 10 minutes. Cook time: 25 minutes. Devour time: 5 minutes.
Anyone up for a fast meal, this one hits the spot in less than an hour. Enjoy!
What you’ll need:
1/2 kg Beef Sirloin Strips
1 small can Whole Mushrooms
1 Tbsp Spanish Paprika
1 Tbsp Chopped Garlic
1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
3 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 bar Butter
1 tsp Iodized Salt
1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
Step 1: In a container, mix the beef, paprika, garlic, salt, black pepper, mushrooms, and olive oil together. Make sure everything is mixed together, and leave for a minimum of 20 minutes.
Step 2: Set your frying pan over medium heat. Once hot enough, pour everything inside the container into the frying pan and spread evenly across the hot surface. Cover for 5 minutes.
Step 3: Once all sides are starting to brown up, add the Worcestershire and oyster sauce. Mix and cover. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
Step 4: Remove the cover and reduce the sauce. Once the sauce has reduced to half, add the butter. Simmer for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 5: Pour everything onto a plate and sprinkle with fried garlic. Best served with white rice and/or mashed potatoes. (I have a separate post for making mashed potatoes.)
